  • Structure Analysis
    • Outer gear ring: The external spline teeth on the outer circumference, which cooperate with the shift fork to realize the axial sliding of the sleeve and complete gear engagement/disengagement.
    • Internal splines: The internal spline teeth on the inner circumference, which mesh with the external splines of the synchronizer hub to transmit torque and enable axial sliding.
    • Locking grooves / coupling tooth grooves: The tooth-shaped structures on the sleeve, which cooperate with the synchronizer ring and the coupling teeth of the gear to achieve a rigid connection between the gear ring and the gear after speed synchronization.
  • Core Function

    During gear shifting, the sleeve is pushed by the shift fork to first cooperate with the synchronizer ring to complete speed synchronization, then slides axially to mesh with the coupling teeth of the gear, rigidly connecting the gear to the shaft and completing the gear change.
