Functional Positioning
It is a key part of the main box shifting mechanism. Working with the shift fork and synchronizer ring, it enables speed synchronization and rigid connection during gear shifts, making it a wear-prone component that directly bears shifting impacts.

Structural Features
- Internal and external spline design: Inner splines mesh with the synchronizer hub; outer teeth work with the shift fork, while also featuring coupling tooth grooves for locking with the gear’s coupling teeth.
- Carburizing and high-frequency quenching: The tooth surface is treated with carburizing quenching + high-frequency quenching, providing high hardness and excellent wear resistance to withstand frequent heavy-duty shifting impacts in mining dump trucks.
- Compatible with Fast 8DS260 series non-synchronized transmissions, supporting torque transmission in twin-countershaft configurations.

- Maintenance tips: Check the sleeve wear when changing transmission oil; avoid forcing the gear lever during shifting to reduce impact wear
